My March Tallyscrapper kit came in the mail Friday and I tore into it Saturday morning.
Here's a peek.
Did you swooooon with me?
Chipboard, canvas corp, October Afternoon, American Crafts Ribbon.. score!
I'm not sure what the price point on the kit is yet, but I do know they go on sale tomorrow!
Tallyscrapper has a TON of challenges going on right now.
Bingo, Dr. Suess, Color challenge, Leap Year.. currently there are at least 10 challenges going on, and you could win some prizes.. what's better than prizes?
Making new friends on the web and having them comment on your work in the gallery.
Oooh, and my friend Katie over there has started SMASHbook challenges in the altered gallery. FUN!!! Come check us out. :)
So far, I've created two layouts with this kit.
Now, I KNOW this picture would look much better in color, but for the challenge, I had to make it sepia colored. I'm pretty sure I'm going to switch this out to a color print.. something about all the warmth is throwing this layout off.
I still love it though.
I made the library pocket and insert in my Cameo, as well as the frame on the pic. :)
The pic makes me smileeeeee.. i love his happy, excited little face!
This was from his 6th birthday last month.
And here's my other layout.
Samantha dressed up as Cindy Lou for Dr. Suess's birthday on Friday. She also took in one of her favorite Dr. Suess books.
I am seriously addicted to my Cameo. I find myself using it daily now when I craft... if I'm not creating, then I am perusing files in the Silhouette library or making my own stuff.
I cut all the stars on here, the borders in pink, and the title.
If you'd like the .studio file for the title click here.
I hope your weekend has been fabulous!!
I'm about ready to clean up my desk, pull out some Clear Scraps goodies, and create!!!
