I guess I've always known this.... ;)

You Are a Very Bad Girl
You are 10% Good and 90% BadAs they say, good girls go to heaven and bad girls go everywhere! You make most bad girls look like angels - and have a hell of a time along the way.
And this was suppose to be for a challenge, but being the bad girl DORK I am, I didn't use the required pattern paper! LOL

Now I'm off to a "family required birthday party".. you now the ones where if you DON'T show your ass will get reamed for it? grrr.

shipping sucks

The new increases really hurt the wallet. Just to mail 5 sheets of little knock knock papers in an envelope cost .97 cents! I wonder overall how it will affect kit clubs.

I realized I have an enormous amount of kits just sitting here. I of course have made at least one layout out of all of them, some more than others, but I think they'll be hitting the garage sale pile as soon as I get started on that. It's in the basement just collecting dust. Maybe if I get that all out ready to sell, Doug will organize the garage once and for all. No more excuses honey! ;)

Here's are some things I've been working on.

a FD card for my step-dad.

An altered box that had once had a t-shirt in it.
Made this for Doug.
*#1 dad*

The layout is not crooked, just photo'd that way.
On Father's Day we had bought FIL a webcam and tried
setting it up so we could all talk on FD... after an hour or more
we figured out FIL needs new speakers... LOL
*experiencing technical difficulties*

This was a challenge to create a layout without any straight
edges.. more difficult that I imagined it would be.
*our lil fishie*

Another layout for my 1in48 computer technique class at nycscraps.com
Here we learned how to crop in close on photos without losing DPI.

awesome

I got an email this morning from BasicGrey that my layout below was picked up for their gallery. It's so cool seeing my name in the designer list. :) It's the little things that make me happy!
My twin cousins graduate today. It's hard to believe those little snots are now ready to face the world. Shannon is going to attend Radford U to work with disabled children; and Shelly, well I don't know what is on her plate. Here are the cards I made them.

I'm not sure how much $$ to stick in those cards. Doug says $50 and I cringe... but maybe ;)

I also finished decorating my cousin Nick's marble box. He loves dragons, and the DCWV stuff was perfect for altering with. I hope he likes it.

s l o w weekend

It's weird.

Most weekends fly by without you even realizing what happened. This past weekend was different. I don't know why, but it just seemed to go by so slowly. I had to put a patch on the pool yesterday. They make this great underwater patch kit so we didn't have to drain the pool to patch the hole. It's crazy though, the rip is right on the seam and about 6 inches long. I just hope it holds this season so we can get a new liner installed next year. This owning your own above ground pool thing is too dang expensive! Here are some layouts I've done over the last few days.

sickies in da house

crazy.
june 3rd Katelyn and Doug both got sick. What's up with that anyways? we have a dr's appt this afternoon for them both. I was worried Katiebug had strep, now I'm not so sure. Doug is definitely sick with a sinus infection and another nasty lil tidbit. Not a good time to be missing work right now because his company is getting ready to close on another one come June 15th. Let's pray he's not down for too long.
I scrapped on and off all weekend working on my scrappy scavengers album. I'll post today or tomorrow, it's coming along nicely, and now I can't wait to fill it up over the next year or so.

Let's make it 3

Sheeshes that is.

Doug left for work this morning and as he hit the bottom of the hill there was a drivers license check. The cop gave Doug a ticket for not wearing a seat belt, and not having his updated tags on his license plates. Both his fault. He's pissed though, because this is like the 2nd or 3rd check in 6 months... he sees it as harassment of our community/subdivision. He wants to file a complaint. I wonder how those checkpoints work anyways? Does the association manager call the Cops in to do these checks, or the police themselves deciding to do it? Either way, I imagine we have a huge ticket to pay now... total bummer.

I'm crossing my fingers the rest of my DT kit gets here today. I'm amped to finish my projects for the month so I can scrap for me. I have secret sis goodies to dig into from my SS from scrappygiraffekits. She sent so many goodies and their just begging to be put away and played with a bit! I'm working on laundry right now. I had left a load in the dryer for a week so I brought it upstairs to fold and put away. As I was folding the towels I picked up one and there was this huge ass spider on it. Scared the butt demon outta me! Eeeek!!!!! Thank goodness Samanthas lone shoe was in the room... I used it as a squisher.
