Apple of my eye :)

Woohoo I am so excited, today starts a new theme with Paper Issues!!
Think back to school my lovelies!
For this awesome theme, I colored Teacher's Pet Tia from Some Odd Girl with my copic markers. I also finally broke into my Crate Paper Farmhouse paper, added in some twine from The Twinery and cut out part of the sentiment with my Cameo Silhouette.
See that cute apple on the inside of the card?
I originally wanted that on the outside of the card, but it just wasn't working there.

Fab Friday and news from Tiddly Inks!

Happy Friday my blogging buddies!
I am so thankful the weekend is here. Hoping to catch up on some much needed sleep Saturday morning.

The Summer Challenge that is happening RIGHT NOW on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog will end Tuesday at 12am.  So, if you haven't gotten your creations uploaded don't forget...we can't wait to see what you create! There comes several fabulous extras with this digital stamp, but I forgot all about them when it came time to put my card together I totally spaced. ;)
 
I'm not gonna lie, the week has been stressful as all get out and I'm really taking today to focus on all my blessings. It makes me happy to do so, and helps me feel a lot better too. :)

Peacock Kaylee in the house!

Good morning my friends, it's Steak-N-Gravy Thursday as my daughter Samantha likes to call it. She so looks forward to this day because school lunch consists of pork steak, gravy and mashed potatoes, and a roll. her absolute favorite day to eat at School!!

You'll have to forgive my photog skills, I was using my daughters Camera, and could not get a good pic with these releases this week. My 18-55mm lens on my camera died so now I'm left with only a 75-300 lens and the 50mm lens... gotta put the 50mm lens on and get used to taking pics with it again. :/

When I colored this image the first thing I did was google peacock feathers, as I wanted to gain a good understanding of how they were colored. And wouldn't you know it, my Cameo had a peacock feather in the store, so I cut that out for my card.

The halfway mark in the week, gaining momentum for the weekend ahead!

All the kids had a great first day of School yesterday, and Katelyn already had a pile of homework... and so the fun begins! :)

From the horn to the hooves, I am just LOVING this little beauty.
She is my favorite from the new releases...

I printed her out on Copic Xpress it paper and colored her with my Copic Markers

I had a hard time getting a nice photograph of this card, but I cut it out on my Cameo Silhouette using a couple of design files from the online Silhouette Store.
 I loved the wish big cut file, and I used one of my copics to slightly outline the sentiment.

K is sooo looking forward to the first football game this Friday night. She loves marching so much!

Good Morning friends!
Tomorrow starts the first day of School here and I am just not ready for it this year. The early mornings, packing lunches, making sure everyone has brushed their teeth and hair, all whilst trying to feed them and gulp down 12 oz of coffee to wake me up. :)

On a fun note Some Odd Girl has 4 new digital stamp releases this week!
I love them all sooo much.. each one holds a special place in my SOG heart.

I tried my hand a coloring a different skin tone this release, and I can see where more practice is needed, especially since I'm a diehard YR000 fan for skin. :)

Kaylee's Closet and Preppy pups were debuted at CHA-S this year, and were a big hit!!
I adore Kaylee's Closet, because.. well, it's FUN! This is the base set, and there are so many clothing/accessory choices to create with. Then there is the decision... color or paper piece? There's no wrong answer here folks.. I LOVE this set! LOVE it!!
:) :) :)
 Preppy pups have their own magic going on as well.. check out the cuteness with these pups... add in the party hat and sentiments.. you can create quite a bit with these little darlings!

I decided to share with you a little card out of a set I made with preppy pups using the pug! I tried to color this little cutie similar to my pug, Ooxie.

ok.. not really, but it still makes me smile from ear to ear. :)

I know I have been a bit scarce here the last couple of weeks.
Adding a new person to the home takes time to adjust. I really need to work on my time management skills, as the one thing I can't seem to keep up with is my crafting/posting right now. With that said, I have most awesome news to share...
