This is Us Wood Album

I LOVE this album. It's laser-cut from birch wood and available from Clear Scraps. I am up on the blog today showing this beauty off.

This is US is also laser-cut from birch wood. I painted that using chalk paint and dotted the I's using Viva Decor paint pen.

I covered the wood covers with K&Company pattern paper, then sanded the edges and added distress ink along the edges. I then cut eight pattern papers for the inner album pages.

I used my cameo silhouette and added some embellishments along the pages for interest. Whoever gets this will pretty much just have to add pictures and some journaling if they want.

Beach Time vacation

My daughter took and her little family vacationed at the beach for the first time in August. I have so many great photos to scrap now, but these two warmed my heart so much, I had to create something right away with them.

All files and products can be found on this post from Clear Scraps.

I haven't had this much fun creating a layout in a while.

Fun at the Fair

Hey friends. Today I'm sharing this cute Acrylic stars layout on the Clear Scraps blog today.

Katelyn & Samuel took Sophia to the fair, as well as Samantha and her boyfriend.
The acrylic layouts are perfect for creating without having to think too much about design. I love this because of all the photos and it worked well with Independence day!

I pulled out some old thicker sand paper to play with. :)

Our Home

I feel so lucky to have opportunities to work with other company products when Clear Scraps teams up with them. This week Clear Scraps collaborated with Stampendous! I had a BLAST die cutting and paper piecing, glittering and pop dotting my way through this project. Check it out.

If you click my link above it will take you to my Clear Scraps blog post detailing ALL products used to create this cute home decor piece.

I used three different color glitters on here. Sooo pretty in person. I then sealed the glitter in using an acrylic spray sealer.

I loved just adding a touch of Prismacolor pencil to the stamped image to create some shadows.

This lil cutie got paper pieced. I used two different patterns for the elephant, then popped the cute head up to add more dimension.

acrylic layout

You know, one thing that I have enjoyed as being a grandma is watching my daughter raising her daughter. Katelyn is so patient and loving with her baby, and it fills my  heart with joy to see her being a wonderful mother.

I used the Clear Scraps 12x12 Acrylic layout to create this. You can see all the links on the Clear Scraps blog.

Here are some close ups of the details.

I hope you all have a lovely Mothers Day this weekend.
