It's a magical day with Tiddly Inks!

I couldn't stay away with the reveal from Tiddly Inks today!!
Christy has really 'brought it' with this release.

She explains it so well on her blog.
Oh, where to start??!! I know, I will start in the order in which I colored them :)

Meet Mystria!

Mystria comes with exta's like a Tree, Fog, Moon, and digital paper!
Now when I was arranging the digital elements before printing, I totally forgot about the fog file *facepalm* - really kicking myself because I colored in Mystria first, then thought about a nighttime setting with the tree. So, I tried creating my own night sky. It was not easy.. I'm ok with the results, but I would love a tutorial for a night sky!! I really think adding in the fog file would have made a world of difference.. so I may try again in the future. :)

Now, on to another lovely, meet Magda!
When I saw her I envisioned her cascading hair in blue... and do you see her little fae friend? So sweet!!

On to our Dragon friend with Magda, in this file you get three images!!
The dragon and Magda by themselves, and the two together. When I tried the out of the box technique on this one, I cut a little too much into the image near the flower... I sat there looking at it a minute, and it didn't take long for me to see this bigger than life moon behind them.. so I colored that circle to represent a huge moon. :)

 Magda and sparkles are ready for the close up!
I loved coloring this image SO much.. there are so many possibilities in coloring the mane and tail!

firstly.. with Some Odd Girl we are continuing on with the releases today with the cutest little critter who's taken up residence in my heart, meet Nerdy Wormy!
I love the details from the tape on his glasses to the bow tie he's sporting!
I colored this lovely with my Copic Markers

New digital release for July from SOG!

Happy Monday my friends!
To say adding a new member to the household has been, how do I put this.. crazy, would hardly cover it. But it has been crazy here, trying to get Amanda into a normal, responsible routine, job searching, etc. 
 Here's Samantha and Amanda

Today she has an interview at 9am, cross your fingers she gets this!!

Oh yeah.. and my sweet Katelyn... passed her learners test on the first go...
Hubs said she had to fill everything out herself there, that he was basically there as a chauffeur! ;)
 Thank goodness I asked for pics.. look how nervous Katelyn looks here. :)

I took her out on Saturday and Sunday for a couple of hours of training. Seeing her behind the wheel for REAL in this pic.. makes me feel.. old... if I look close enough, I can still see the little girl who ran around with her stuffed bunny and talked to her foot friend, "Henny." Treasure your littles, they grow up way too quickly!

Marching Band stuff starts up today. Pre-Band camp all week, a week away at Band camp next week, then practices til School starts. It officially feels like summer is over... before I know it, Katelyn will be driving us to drop her off at the HS! :)

Now.. you still with me?? hehe
I have a little more fun to share in digital form..

They're here, new clear stamps!

So, if you clicked on the link I gave you the other day.. you already know the surprise!
If not, I am excited to tell you that Tiddly Inks is now creating clear stamps!!

I have lots to show you, so hold on for the ride. :)
 
This new release has 5 stamp sets to choose from.. they rock!

 With this set I created a swing card... it was my first, and such a cool thing! I could never cut this out on my own, but using my trusty Cameo Silhouette, I was able to create this in no time.

 I love that seashell border!



I had the pleasure of creating with this set too.. with it I created a sweet treat pocket to put in your loved ones lunch as a surprise, or just a quick gift for a friend.

 



 Don't get me wrong, Wryn is a favorite... but these sweet birds have me smiling hugely!!

Notice how I used the digital sentiment? I colored it in photoshop to match the card. :)

You know HedgieHugg I colored a couple weeks ago?
well included in that file is another sweet hedgie and some butterflies, I couldn't resist using them on a quick n easy card.
The cardstock I used for the background is shimmery, so it didn't photograph too well for me. I used a print n cut from the Silhouette Store, I think this one is a House of 3 - it's simple, Enjoy the Summer day!
i adore the butterflies just as much as the hedgie!

New Wryn's from Tiddly Inks

I did not sleep well last night, it's raining out, so I just may curl up with a book like Wryn. :)

and I want some bunny slippers too!

I have some exciting news to share on a personal note, my 19yo step-daughter Amanda is coming to live with us awhile. We've been trying to get her here since Sunday using a bus line.. it has been very stressful, and we could use any prayers you can muster. Between missing buses for coming early and layovers and broken down buses, she still is not here yet. *sigh* All our nerves are pretty frayed, so please pray for her safety and for the rest of the buses to be on time as scheduled. I'm not sure how much more any of us can take.

I can see Clearly - Paper Issues Hop!

A new theme is up this week over at Paper Issues!

The theme is I can see clearly now...  think transparencies, acrylic, acetate, etc, and runs through July 14th!! Go.. LINK UP your creations.. and follow the hop.

I am using a brand new CHA-S card from Clear Scraps Send it Clear line.
 

The angel interlocks to keep the card closed. I used stampendous aged gold embossing powder on the angel to give it that gorgeous finish, as well as Websters Pages PP.

 When the card opens up, there is plenty of room to write your sentiment on the journal card.


The card is 100% see through and makes designing with these a dream, there are so many possibilities to create something unique that will be treasured.
