Paws~itively adorable!

Good morning friends!
This week Clear Scraps & Stampendous have teamed up to bring you a week full of gorgeous projects and inspiration!

I was thrilled when I saw the Pop up Kitties stamps, Cat Sayings, and the beautiful Frantage encrusted embossing kit in Blue.

Using Clear Scraps 12x12 Acrylic sheet as my canvas, I embossed around a sheet of paper and adhered that underneath the 12x12 acrylic sheet.

While I had the Stampendous embossing powder out, I also embossed Clear Scraps Swirls Border, because of the heat, it changed shape a little bit, but the end result is pretty beautiful!

Using the Pop up Kitties cling set and memento ink, I stamped the head, body, bow, and basket on a sheet of Xpress it Cardstock.

I colored the kitty using my copic markers.
(W00, W0, W2, 3, 4, 5, 7)

Using the Cat Sayings stamp set and Stazon ink, I stamped the sentiment on my photograph and random little kitty paw prints and fish around the layout.

Check out Clear Scraps & Stampendous for more fabulous projects!!

Spring spring bring it on

Happy Tuesday!!!
I mean it.. sooo happy it's tuesday.
The Spring Cleaning bug has hit here in the Crowe household.
Actually, I think it's more like.. My daughter got her first job and I am taking more on so she has a little down time from school and work. I helped mow the grass yesterday, cleaned out the nasty fridge, blah blah.. I did a ton.

Today, it's rainy out and I am perfectly happy to chill on the front bench outside watching the rain drizzle down while I gulp down copious amounts of coffee.

I created this Flower Brag bag album from Clear Scraps to hold some Spring Break photos from last week. We didn't do much, but it was nice just having down time... and running the newly employed daughter back/forth to work.

I'm kind of in a lot of like for this album. I mixed Coarse texture gel with acrylic paint and used Clear Scraps 6" Mascil to create this rotating Chevron design through-out the album.

I then embellished it with different Paper Issues Swag Bag products.
The album came together pretty quick.

SMILE! Be Happy!
Enjoy your Tuesday!! :)

Bring on Spring!!

So much good this past week, I am beyond blessed.

My daughter had her first job interview on Friday and was hired on the spot. She started the next day on Saturday. Sadly, she will probably be working most holidays now, but that is part of growing up I suppose. Happily, she was able to eat Easter dinner with us.

We have Spring Break this week, so she will pick up some extra hours this week, but mainly be working on the weekends until after Graduation. And get this, her third day and she will be training someone else! Crazy. :)

I hope your Easter was wonderful!
Today, I am sharing my Scallop Send it Clear Card.

I have a small tutorial on how I put this together on the Clear Scraps blog.
Check it out. Have a great week!!
XOXO

Band Trip adventures

Happpppy HAPPY HAPPYYYY Friday!

Yes, I'm SO happy the weekend is upon us.
Today, I'm up on the Clear Scraps blog showing off my daughters adventures in her Band Trip travels to Ohio last year using this cool Mixable Travel Album!

I'll share a couple of the inside pages, but all the good stuff is over at Clear Scraps. ;)

I absolutely love the mix of shapes in this album, it is SO FUN!!
What are your plans for the weekend?

We have planned to go on a picnic at the park tomorrow, but with this rain we are having, I'm not sure if we are going to be able to keep the plans or not. I sure hope so.

OH. Yeah. And Paper Issues is having a crop this weekend online!! I hope I can churn a few layouts out. :)

Are you wearing green?

I'm not wearing green.. yet. I have to jump in the shower and get ready for the day. Yesterday was quite busy, so today will be low key and more quiet.

Happy Saint Patties Day!

Today, I'm up on the Clear Scraps blog sharing this home decor item.
I think it's sweet and it really brightens up the wall its on!

If you want to know more about how I made this, head on over to Clear Scraps to check it out. :)

My husband got pinched right away this morning because he wasn't wearing green. He looks over at me and says, "Why don't you ever buy me any green shirts?" (LOL)
I'm not sure why honestly, but he sure has lots of blue ones! :-)

Hope you have a fantastic day, and watch out for those pinching little leprechauns!

Lovey love love

I just adore Clear Scraps and their amazing products.
I also love my new Fitbit and had to scrap about it.

I used the Clear Scraps XL Deco shaped acrylic as the base of my layout, which is completely clear, and also that gorgeous mirror frame. They are so cool!

I also have 4 ATC's up on the Clear Scrap blog today. For these I adhered my paper on the backside of each ATC, ran it through my bigshot and gave it some texture, and popped on the embellies.  I used a lot of my January Paper Issues swag bag for these cuties!

I'm off to finish up my coffee and get my house in order from the weekend.
Have a great one!

JUST like that...

...and we are into a NEW Year and 3/4ths through January. Unreal!

I'm happy to tell you that I have finally went to the doctor, after many years of KNOWING I should go to the doctor for issues I was having, but was too afraid to.

But after years of being afraid of going to the doctor I realized quite suddenly (you could say I had an epiphany), that I was more afraid of not seeing my children grow up.
There is still so much to see and live for!

Boomerang ourselves to mid-January, and I have had several appointments, and have kept them all. I am not healthy, but there is hope for me, and I am making small changes in hopes of being here another 38 years (at least).

Anywho.. I got this nifty gift card to paper issues for Christmas, and I spent a little of it over the weekend. My order got here today and it just inspired me so much!

Between the December swag bag, the WRMK Love Notes paper, and this awesome cut file (FREE people!!) from Paper Issues, I couldn't go wrong.

Oh yeah, and gelatos!!! Holy cow they are so fun!
I used the XOXO part of the cut file... here's a sweet close up of my grandbaby Reagan at Christmas. She LOVED this baby on sight. ;)
