Some Odd Girl March challenge

Wow. March 1st!!
Time flies.. especially if you are a Space Cadet named Tia

The challenge this month is pop it up.
Easy, right?

I colored this cutie with Prismacolor Premiers on Kraft card stock.

I cut the box out on my Cameo, then also print and cut out the shapes and background papers. I thought it was perfect for this space theme.

Go check out the other fabulous creations and join in the Monthly Challenge at Some Odd Girl!!
To infinity and beyond, xoxo

Hearts Day hop with Some Odd Girl

Welcome to my stop on the Some Odd Girl Valentine’s Day Blog Hop!
You should have arrived from Melissa’s blog but if you just stopped by then head back to the beginning  to get started so you don’t miss any stops.

If you're new to my blog, welcome! My name is Leah and I love all things crafty. Lately, colored pencils have taken over my coloring medium of choice. Coming from working with Copics I see there is a bit of a learning curve to it... anyways, on to it, shall we? *grins*

For my hearts day hop, I couldn't resist coloring up Swoon Dakota! If you know me, I LOVE to swoon over all kinds of things sweet, including my hubby who will be receiving this cutie.
Be sure to check in and comment on each blog, including this one, to be the most eligible!
Since we’re spreading the love so hardcore, everyone gets 14% off at the Some Odd Girl shop using code SOGLove!

That's not all, we'll also be choosing 2 lucky winners from those of you who comment on every blog, each receiving a $14 spending spree in our shop.
Here’s our hop list...
Go forth and have a beautiful weekend!!

Heart Printer Tray

Oh my goodness, have you guys seen the new Printer Tray Frames from Clear Scraps?
If not, you're in for a real treat! They remind me of shadow boxes and shakers combined into one... the best of both worlds, in my opinion.

Today, I'm sharing my take on the Heart Printer Tray Frame.

I found some of my favorite photos of the family from the last few months and added them to the chipboard backing piece. I took the top layer and adhered pattern paper and cut it out with my craft knife. I really wanted the photos to shine in this beauty. The cool thing about these is that you can create them to hang as home decor pieces.

See the cute little stamped hearts? Swoon. I love being able to add stamping on the acrylic top piece.

I also added some flocking and mini beads beneath the title on the bottom.
After I adhered it all together, I painted the edges (not shown here) of the heart to seal it even better. The flocking was so tiny it was finding ways to escape the heart.
I nipped that right in the bud. hehe

Thanks for checking in with me today. Check back on Friday for a super fun hop!!
