Lovey love love

I just adore Clear Scraps and their amazing products.
I also love my new Fitbit and had to scrap about it.

I used the Clear Scraps XL Deco shaped acrylic as the base of my layout, which is completely clear, and also that gorgeous mirror frame. They are so cool!

I also have 4 ATC's up on the Clear Scrap blog today. For these I adhered my paper on the backside of each ATC, ran it through my bigshot and gave it some texture, and popped on the embellies.  I used a lot of my January Paper Issues swag bag for these cuties!

I'm off to finish up my coffee and get my house in order from the weekend.
Have a great one!

JUST like that...

...and we are into a NEW Year and 3/4ths through January. Unreal!

I'm happy to tell you that I have finally went to the doctor, after many years of KNOWING I should go to the doctor for issues I was having, but was too afraid to.

But after years of being afraid of going to the doctor I realized quite suddenly (you could say I had an epiphany), that I was more afraid of not seeing my children grow up.
There is still so much to see and live for!

Boomerang ourselves to mid-January, and I have had several appointments, and have kept them all. I am not healthy, but there is hope for me, and I am making small changes in hopes of being here another 38 years (at least).

Anywho.. I got this nifty gift card to paper issues for Christmas, and I spent a little of it over the weekend. My order got here today and it just inspired me so much!

Between the December swag bag, the WRMK Love Notes paper, and this awesome cut file (FREE people!!) from Paper Issues, I couldn't go wrong.

Oh yeah, and gelatos!!! Holy cow they are so fun!
I used the XOXO part of the cut file... here's a sweet close up of my grandbaby Reagan at Christmas. She LOVED this baby on sight. ;)

I'm Bacccck part 2

It is kind of amazing what happens when you clean your work area...

Check it.. I did it!

The only thing left to really tackle is the mess under the desk near my boy, Pierre, and that tote on the right side.

So yeah.. I got crafty last night and today!
Some of it I can show now...

Simple little treat bags for Samantha & Cameron to hand out at school.
I got the free printable from My Sweet Sanity blog, I then opened the pdf up in Silhouette, set up a print and cut.. and got busy... 36 toppers later and the kids were having fun putting candy in the bags and placing the toppers on.

And here is a cute little treat bag that I think is from Lori Whitlock.
The paper is from SEI. Sooo cute.
So yeah.. now I have to clean up again... but it is nothing like it was before. ;)

I'm bacccck, again.

I took a hiatus.
In that time I've hardly completed any crafting.
I miss it.
Greatly.

I miss coloring.
Altering pretties.
Making paper items from my Silhouette and cards.

This is my desk.

As you can see (and I haven't shown it all) my desk is covered in all things pretty much non crafty.

-Coupons
-Senior Proofs
-Kleenex
-Medicine
-Magazine junk mail

Tallyscrapper 2.0 is going to be opening back up for business early Winter 2015! I'm SOOOO Excited!! The message boards are working, and right now we have a challenge going on to show your desk before and after.

I'll be updating with my after soon. ;)
Wish me luck, I'm diving in head first!

Clear Scraps May Kit

I love Clear Scraps May kit sooo much!!!
This month I created four projects and still had a few bits leftover to hand off to my daughter Samantha.

I created this card with some of my leftover bits...
here's the inside
I ended up writing a sweet little note to Samantha and gave it to her.
She was a happy young lady. :)

hehehe I adore the 'funny faces' I got on Easter from my kids..
I printed out a 8.5 x 5.5 photo
then I added the same photo inside Silhouette, and cropped out the word HAPPY from the photograph...
I added pop dots to Happy and tried to line it up exactly on the large photograph.
I also added pop dots to the black chalkboard style paper
Yeah.. I went a little crazy with them.. hehe
I alcohol inked this gorgeous Clear Scraps acrylic border.. and cut it in half so I could use it in two places on the layout.
isn't it pretty?
I also spritzed the flowers using Color Shine and created a small heart in the center with my Piccolo paints.

I'll try to remember to come back and update this blog better.
Hugs and more hugs
Leah

Teapot gift box

Good morning friends!
This past weekend we got to see our darling grand baby. We watched her while her mama worked.. the first day was OMG make it stop crying.. we think she had a tummy ache or starting to teethe. The second day was awesome.

Samantha and I had her giggling several times, and was just enjoying her company. :) The only stinky thing about it was keeping her until midnight-ish... it's just plum hard on everyone on a Sunday evening.

I had the privilege to create with this gorgeous March kit from Creating Made Easy by Clear Scraps!

Included in the kit is this fabby NEW Teapot Chipboard album.
I used two of the album pieces to create this Teapot Gift home decor item.
The flowers, ribbon, and butterfly are from my stash.
On the inside, I have placed different Kuerig Tea flavored Kcups as a gift.
And I figure a large bouquet of flowers would look pretty lovely in here once all the tea is gone.
For Silhouette users, you can have the free print and cut file but downloading it here.

To get an idea of how I put this teapot together, or to see more fab projects check out the CME Blog!
Have a great Wednesday!
