Clear Release day 2!

Day 2 of Some Odd Girl's clear stamp release!
How did you like those amazing sentiments yesterday?
Today is just as good!!
The next two cards are from Everyday Smiles.
I stamped How are you doing on the background paper very lightly to create some movement on the card. I then stamped the sentiment again, darker, to take the focus. Puppy Tobie was colored with my Copic Markers.

On this next card, I took the starburst stamp and stamped in different colors around the sentiment and the paper behind Cupcake Mae. I then also stamped Celebrate on my journaling card, and pop dotted all day everyday banner.
Totally quick and easy card!
Go check out the other ways you can use this ultra cool sentiment set on the Odd Girl Blog!

Clear Release with Some Odd Girl

Phew.. What a fabulous Holiday weekend. I hope all my US friends who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful time of being thankful with your family and friends. Ours was a whirlwind of fun. We moved our daughter Amanda back in Wednesday last week, celebrated Thanksgiving, cooked a turkey feast of our own Friday, started Christmas decorating Saturday, hope to finish it up today. The older girls went to see Breaking Dawn 2 in the theater... they came home ecstatic saying it rocked... and here I am. *grins* There seems to always be something going on.
Some quick photos

We forgot to get someone to take one with all 6 of us together.

Now, on to the fun of today.. a new clear stamp release from Some Odd Girl!
This time Kristy created something totally cool.. a sentiment/graphic release! It pairs so well with all your favorite Odd girl Graphics you already have on hand.

I colored Kitty Tia and used two sentiment stamps, as well as the fabulous chevron border stamp in the background.

I stamped the entire stamp set on a sheet of paper, distressed the edges, then popped up the you & me sentiment on the card. Little Loves (Tia Version) is colored below.

There are a ton more examples on the Odd girl blog, go check it out and find out how you can grab a set for yourself!

I'm off to take Cameron to the Dr.. little guy has a cough that is worrying me a bit.
A big birthday shout out to my cousins Shelly & Shannon today!!

TGI Fab Friday!

Gooood morning my friends!!
I've been so busy this week... for any of you who follow me on instagram
may know that I am now watching my baby cousin again. Full time.
She's the one in the bucket... <g>
We've been having loads of fun with her!
It's just leaving me a wee bit tired in the evenings.
I'm going to be cranking out some work this weekend to get ahead of the game. I'll be sharing more towards the end of November.

Today, is Fab Friday at Tiddly Inks!
Head over there to see all the fabulous DT work, and you still have thru the weekend to get in on the latest Challenge!
Copic Colors
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E13, R21
Hair: Y23, YR20, YR21, YR23, YR27, E27
Clothes: V20, V22. V25, V28, BG90
I've colored up Skater Wryn with my Copics and used Bo Bunny PP for the card.
Isn't she sweet? Perfect for the cool weather we've been having in VA... although it has been warming up nicely in the mid afternoon, but temps are dropping quickly in the evenings since the time change.

I've got to make me another cuppa and get busy creating!!
Hope your weekend is happy and fun!

Kristy, owner of Some Odd Girl blogging at The Odd Girl,  had a 31 days of awesomeness birthday celebration on her blog during the month of October.
One of those days included giving away some beautiful sentiments!

In Photoshop, I combined Indian Tia with the thanks sentiment Kristy gave away, to create this sweet thank you card. I colored with Copic markers and even broke out my ABS for a little fun on the background.

Head on over to the Some Odd Girl blog to see Annette's gorgeous card and find out how you can scoop up Indian Tia for your very own!!

New month New Challenge at SOG!

Happy Thursday friends!!
~ Something crafty will be posted after the kiddo pics! ~

My children had a hard time waking up this morning from their late night gathering candy from Trick or Treating. :) See Samantha's black and red highlights in her hair? I was able to add those in using water and my chalk ink from Pebbles. It took just a few short minutes, but washed right out last night after the fun was over.
Katelyn did not dress up this year, but she did help take her little brother and sister door to door. :) I don't know where Samantha gets her poses from, but they sure do make me smile!! These next two photos I put on Instagram last night.

This one cracks me up!

Watch out, Mario! ;-)

Today kicks off the start of another new Some Odd Girl challenge!
I love the sketch challenges, it really gets me motivated to create something spectacular!
I used Fall Friends clear stamp from SOG to create this card and colored her up with my copic markers! Go check out the other fabulous DT cards, and meet a new someone fabulous Kristy added onto the DT! And enter the challenge for your chance to win!!

Oh.. and I am up on the Clear Scraps blog today showing my Recipe Stand. Your support over there would mean a lot to me.
Big hugs and stay warm!
