Unlock the secrets Blog Hop!!

Good afternoon my crafty friends!
Today on the blog we have a hop!
Make it Crafty and Tiddly Inks teamed up for a fantastical JOINT blog hop and special digital stamp release! Think Pharoah, Cleopatra, Pyramids.
cool right?
It makes me think of this song from The Bangles - Walk like an Egyptian
I may be slightly cheesy but it's such a good song!! ;)

If you're just joining me on my blog, I highly recommend you pop over to the original blog post and hop from there.

All links will be on that blog, so to make this work, we suggest you open a new window for each link [click CNTRL (command on MAC) and the link you wish to visit], which will open the next blog and keep the main post up too. This way, you can easily navigate between each blog in the hop and return to the main page when you are ready to go to the next blog.

I created two cards for this hop and had a blast combining images from Make it Crafty & Tiddly Inks! On the card below I am using:

Tiddly Inks - Jackie & Jackal
Make it Crafty - Desert Oasis & Egyptian Pottery

I created the sentiment in Photoshop, which you can have a copy of the sentiment in .PNG format here. Just right click and save file as..to your computer. (it's important you right click to save so the image remains on a transparent background and makes using it much easier later on.)

Here's a close up of the image, which I colored with Copic Markers.

Jackal - N2, N4, E55, E57, E59, E40, E41, E42
Jackie - E00, E11, E13, YR82, B66 (skin) B66, B69, B79 (dress) Y23, Y26, Y28 (gold colors)
Pottery - W2, W4, RV00, BG02, BG05
Oasis - BG02, BG05, E50, E53, E55, E30 (i ran out of e50) E17, YG67, YG63, YG09, YG05, W2, W4
Pattern Paper - Recollections "The Sweetest Thing"
Embellies - Prima, Twinery Twine, Gauche Alchemy, Ranger Ink, Copic Opaque White
Font - Pegypta

I also created this card using Make It Crafty - Tangles

Skin - E00, E11, E13
Hair - R32, R35
Eyes - YG09, YG05
Cloth - W00, W3
Background - BV20, BV23, Ranger Archival ink "saffron"

I used the same font Pegypta on this card for the sentiment.
I have used Heidi Swapp paper & hearts and a Prima flower on here.

How do you like the new images you've seen so far?
I am totally inspired, I think both teams have outdone themselves with this fabulous new themed release!! Don't forget both shop owners from Make it Crafty & Tiddly Inks are having sales right now as well. So many happy things going on right now!! :)

You know what's funny?
My 2nd grader is learning all about Egyptian Civilization in school right now.. as I wrote this post up I was also helping her study for an upcoming test. ;)

That's all from me my lovelies! Don't forget to hop along all the blogs.. look for the hieroglyphs... there are fantastic prize packages up for grabs and sales in the stores!! If you're new to my blog, I would love it if you took a moment to follow me on my blogging adventures.

XOXO
