Obviously, I will have to get this more on a schedule, but last night I finished my cover for my Project Life and my Week one!
This is my first year documenting, and I am just so happy I am trying it out this year. This seems perfect for all those super busy individuals out there... and even if you are not super busy.. seems perfect for just about everyone.. you just need to decide how you want to document your life. I plan on focusing on a few stories from the week instead of driving myself insane trying to focus on every day of the week.
These are not the best photos as I took them at night.
Doug was looking over week 1 and noticed that there was a lot of sad I documented for the first week. It won't always be this way, I told him. January 4th happens to be my mom's birthday, and since she's no longer with us, I felt the need to do a large spread about her and celebrating her birthday. Next year, we'll celebrate with a cake I think.
The other sad thing is starting off the New Year without our beloved Domino. So hard losing a loved one 2 or 4 legged.
My favorite design from the spread is this one
I stamped In Stitches Tia in brown Stazon.. love that sweet stamp!
I'll be linking up to Paper Issues... you have two more days to link up your projects!!
Check back tomorrow for the Some Odd Girl blog hop!!

aww Leah I love this...I have thought about doing project life..I love your first week...so awesome..can't wait to see more..

ReplyDeleteSo glad you are doing PL this year!!! You have the right mindset for it and already making it work for you. This looks awesome! Some weeks will be sad. I am in the same situation.

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!! I'm starting this year but am already behind! I don't usually print my photos. Do you do yours yourself or get them printed elsewhere? :) x
ReplyDeleteHi Jo, I print at home. It's super convenient, and that way I do not have to plan ahead too much! Thanks so much for stopping by!
