Save the date!!

Now, on to some cuteness I forgot to share last week using Clear Scraps 12x12 acrylic sheet and a shadowbox file from Lori Whitlock.
I created the shadowbox with cardstock and pattern paper from Pink Paislee using Indigo Bleu. Once I create the shadowbox, I adhered it to the acrylic sheet that I had already masked off using alcohol inks and stencils.

This is funky, fun, and totally in style with my teens love right now.
This is hanging in her room to house some of her special Pokemon figurines she wants to show off. Plus, it has birds and music on there, both of which she adores.

I can't believe how sturdy the shadowbox is on it's own, but it just feels that much more sturdy adhered to the acrylic sheet.

I couldn't help but to also decorate and hang this fabulous Clear Scraps birdcage embellishment within the shadowbox.

Tomorrow afternoon I send my oldest off for 5 days to Orlando, Fl. with her bandmates. I'm excited and nervous.. she's never been so far from me before, and for so long.
eeps. Must craft to stay calm.
:)
hugs my friends,
