I have a thing for G45

*grins* I'm so nervous posting this and getting ready to hit 'send' on my submission for the Graphic 45 DT Call, I'm almost laughing!  *deep breath* Their products are all amazing, and it would be a true dream to create for them. I look forward to getting some of their staples to use... yum. Ok.. here goes nothing. :)

Let's go to the circus!!

I'm super nervous, and I'll tell you why.. I'm going to be mailing in my DT application/submission tomorrow for Graphic 45.  I also mailed in my submission for Glue Arts last night. Eeps. Cross your fingers for me? I've never submitted to a Manufacturer team before, and I figure if I don't try, I'll never know.

Anyways, I have always been a fussy cutter. It takes forever, but it relaxes me if it goes right, and it adds so much to my pages when I take the time to do it. Sometimes I will grab a pair of scissors and sit in bed while watching t.v. and cut things out of a paper for a project I'm working on. Then I can finish it up the next day with the special accessories.

This little cutie has been sitting on my computer tower for well over two years now.

I can't remember if the tin was originally from Doodlebug or Queen & Company or Bo Bunny. Anyone know? It is magnetic on the back, and originally it came with a clear lid, but I lost that sometime ago. ;)
I love when a plan comes together. Grab some popcorn, funnel cakes, and check out the Big Top.

The clowns are antagonizing the crowd... or their blowing kisses, but I'm pretty sure it's the previous thought. Their incorrigible.

I used alcohol ink and distressed the metal bits.  The borders from the Le Cirque collection were perfect for decorating the inside and outside edges. For the back Rim, I used Glue Arts and some Ruby Rock it trim. I love the decorative edge it adds.

They sure are full of themselves.. they remind me of my children and furniture. ;-)

It looks so cute on the fridge too.
Hope your weekend has been full of fun.

G45 love

Wheee up all night.
That's what my third cup of coffee after 4pm Friday will do to me. I think Doug went to bed annoyed. lol
It's just me, the teen K, and the faeries up.
Isn't the lil Tim Holtz birdie sweet?
It all started with this
An old Prima Blossoms box, I think I've had it going on five years now. It previously held scraps of ribbon, but I have been yearning for springtime weather. When my eyes focused on it today I spent several hours altering it.

This is the back
and the front - You can view any photo larger by clicking on it.

My sweet Fae friend on top is passing the time coaxing spring flowers to grow.

I hung two Fae from the top of the box lid with fishing line.

the view from top looking down inside

There is a lot of depth here.. so many cuties to see.
There are mushrooms, a family of bunnies, a jungle of flowers, grass, and of course our loved faeries.

All paper products are from the Once Upon a Springtime Graphic 45 collection.

I wish I could find a tea cup that said drink me to make me small enough to visit inside the Faerie woods. It really seems nice in there. :) Would you come visit?

Hope your weekend is a pleasant one!

Happy Birthday to YOU!

Cameron woke up yesterday on his birthday to have cupcakes for breakfast. He immediately wanted to open his presents.  Since we weren't having anyone over for cake and icecream, we thought why not?
His reaction

Papaw Crowe sent him a birthday card

and of course it had birthday money in it. :)
He can't wait to go to TRU to spend it.
He called Papaw to thank him.

We had lunch of Cams choice.. hot pockets (he had two! lol)
then we went to the park of his choice.
It was busy there with the lovely weather.

He got this super cool remote control car, he fell in love with it.

I pray we just got a faulty one.. we're going to have to return it though and figure something out. He really loved this car. We distracted him with the slide and by playing 'monster'.

Back home for some dinner of ravioli and shell macaroni. then cake with the movie How to Train a Dragon.  (great movie, i loved it, and so did Cam. he actually sat through the whole movie.) He gets two cakes this year, because between all we did yesterday, momma didn't have time to make the boy the cake of his dreams.. we'll be making that on Tuesday. ;)
Make a wish

Samantha is home sick today, hope she's feeling better tomorrow.

If you pray, please pray for Kimberly M. and her son Ryan. He has cancer and has been fighting it so long. He recently celebrated his 7th birthday, but he's not doing well at all right now. Prayers of any kind are appreciated.

Project 12 we're doing on Tally.
Project 12: January ~ Challenging

Survivors first challenge on Tally for Team Russell . :)
Don't go
We had to use colors tan and blue, at least 2 staples, and a photo(s) with more than 1 person in it.
I chose to document Cameron saying goodbye to Samantha on her first day of school.
It hit him pretty hard the first week. They hugged and kissed. (the kissing part is super rare. lol)
I got misty with it using mister hueys and maya road mists.

FedEx just placed this on my doorstep.
Imaginisce animal cracker line
*insert squeals of delight*
*jumping up and down*
giggling and cackling with Cameron.
(he loves the big mustache with the seal)
Imaginisce completely ROCKS!!!!
I won the entire Animal Crackers line from their blog.
You must check them out if you're not already a fan.
They have a kick ass rockin' design team.. and their super generous with their fans/customers.
I'm on cloud nine today... and it feels wonderful!
